The Diversity & Inclusion Trailblazer Award recognizes a Baird Private Wealth Management associate who is a champion in advancing diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion in the workplace.
Colleagues call Lauren an “authentic personality” and “fearless leader” who willingly shares her passion for inclusivity throughout the firm and promotes Spectrum’s mission to help associates feel comfortable being true to themselves at work.
“Lauren’s ability to be open and authentic about her own story has impacted other associates within the firm, making Baird a more welcoming and open environment for all associates. She’s helping LGBTQ+ people feel more comfortable about being their true, authentic selves at work. They’re inspired by seeing her being successful and living the life that she wants to live. On the other end of the scale, she’s helping others by inviting questions in a safe way,” said Waukesha Branch Manager,Brian Wielgus.
Lauren is an advisor on a powerhouse team of women, one of the firm’s few female-only teams. Professionally, she has dedicated herself to pursuing unique business and recruiting opportunities in the broader community while serving clients at a high level.
“In Lauren’s five years at Baird, I’ve had the opportunity to see first-hand her commitment to clients, interest in developing her skills and engagement in the community. She has become a resource for the office and an advocate for what she has learned through the Foundations program. I love her combination of entrepreneurial mindset and interest in giving back to the community.
